Junglee Billee Delhi- Restaurant Review
Hello My Awesome Readers,
Hope you all are doing well; I am once again back with another restaurant review named “Junglee Billee” situated in GK-1 M Block Market, Delhi. This one was due for long but finally I am posting it now 😉 . It’s an unusual concept of a Boutique Restaurant which means whatever you will find their as a display is on Sale. Currently this concept is not too common in Delhi and there are very few restaurants like these and Junglee Billee is one of them. I can so well relate NimsStyleFile (my blog), with this place as it covers so much about Fashion, Lifestyle, Food & much more. (Wow I finally learnt how to promote my own blog :p LOL)
The interiors of Junglee Billee have been designed by a renowned designer Nida Mahmood. And Thanks to Zomato for introducing me with this place. Once you will enter this place, you will find it quirky and out of the box.

The Interiors of Junglee Billee

This is the place where we sat
Junglee Billee has a 70’s theme, like in a movie called Bombay Velvet. We went there on Sunday it was quite a silent afternoon as very less people were on the roads because of India and Pakistan Cricket Match. I am sorry I am not at all a cricket freak, please don’t mind if I may have hurt anyone’s sentiments here :p
I went there with my friends and we all were quite impressed with the interiors and the ambiance of this place. Even the service staffs were quite warm and humble. We started ordering with Beverages– Cinderella (Orange juice, Pineapple, Ginger Ale & Grenadine) & Tropical zing (Pineapple, Basil & Pomegranate) both of the drinks were good, but not one of the best I have had.

My Foodie Friends busy in ordering 🙂

They have a facility for Sheesha/hookah too but for that you have to sit outside and that too without an AC 🙁
and for all the sheesha/hookah lovers like me who must be reading this post now, here is a good news that they serve it for Rs.99 only on weekdays before 6pm in the evening 🙂 They also give some good offers on Beers too.
We then ordered for Main Course- Colaba Garlic Bread, Thyme Sautéed Garden Vegetables and a sheesha/hookah. Garlic bread was very delicious and crispy and the pizza was cheesy and perfect. The quantity was sufficient for 2. I even liked to rate their services 5/5 as the service staff was quick, polite and courteous. We didn’t order much, because we all weren’t quite hungry.
Your face when you have something in your mouth :/

Our endless discussions on random topics 😛
For desserts they don’t have many options, and I was looking forward to have waffle but they didn’t have that in the menu, so we thought to have it somewhere else ;).
For me Junglee Billee scores full marks in terms of decor, but in terms of food I will rate it 3/5. For those who are looking for a unique decor or vintage ambiance then this is definitely the place one should visit. It basically has wide variety of Mumbai food with an Iranian theme. There is one more restaurant with the similar menu and i.e. “Soda Bottle Opener Wala” If I have to compare both the restaurants, then I shall be giving 4/5 to Soda Bottle Opener Wala. I gave one extra point to Soda Bottle Opener Wala is just for their cost effective menu, which lacks with Junglee Billee.
I will talk more about Soda Bottle Opener Wala may be in a separate post. But let me give my summarized ratings for Junglee Billee here below:-
Ambience:- 10/5 This restaurant definitely has finest decor. One can’t stop themselves from getting clicked here 😉
They have sitting upstairs too

This is the Bar Area
Akka Photographer who is getting clicked by me 😛

Got this new sling, so this click was must 😛
Location:- 5/5 To find this place is quite easy, parking is also not a problem. Its in GK-2 Market, you can even shop for some cool stuff for yourself too from this market 🙂

I may be lost, actually where to shop first:P

Trust me i am not that fat, this dress is liked that 😉
Food:- 3/5 Whatever we ordered was sumptuous, it was just that the place is bit heavy on your pocket and that too maybe it’s a boutique restaurant :). But it’s definitely worth visiting at least once.
Service:- 5/5, As already mentioned above the staff was quite quick, polite and courteous 🙂
Price:- 3/5 Its one of the luxurious boutique restaurant, so bit heavy on pocket.
My total rating for this place is 3.5/5, One should definitely visit this place to find a little piece of Mumbai in the heart of Delhi 🙂
